How This All Began

Widespread Disturbance first started in 2004 when we use to cruise around Waynesboro, PA with a few friends. We use to film everything we did with a cybershot digital camera from street racing to burnouts. We made trailers that are still available to view in the videos section. We also created a car club called the CPP Mafia for the present time. We had a small site that we posted the trailers to for other members to view and the popularity and word got out.

In 2005, we made things a little serious by doubling our members and cruising to farther areas including Hagerstown's Dual Highway and Hanover's Eisenhower Drive. The name Widespread Disturbance was choosen and has stuck ever since. After a whole year of filming, we produced our first underground street racing DVD called Defiance. With over 90 minutes of edited footage that included our team, airport racing, cruising, and tire smoking, it was a hit to the locals.

In 2006 everyone knew what we were all about. We grew to an amazing 30 members at one time, and everyone was expecting our 2nd DVD to be off the hook. We traveled to all the major Car Shows and Events and were out every weekend to hit up the local hot spots. At the end of the year, problems arose within the group that put a dent in our expansion. Some members gave up and split up to try to start their own car groups. After just a few months they all crumbled and Widespread Disturbance still prevailed.

2007 marked the start of WidespreadDisturbance.com and our 2nd DVD called Redefiance that was an amazing 3 hours of excitement. We have met some higher HP cars and have made our presence known in surrounding states. Photoshoots have become a bigger deal and are now filming everything we produce in High Definition. We also have become affiliated with the performance shop 1320 Motoring of Hagerstown.

In the future, expect a 3rd DVD coming soon. We will keep expanding as much as we possibly can, from Magazines to Motorsports.
