Hagerstown Dual Highway

We try to meet up mostly in Hagerstown. They have had a big cruising following for about 10 years now and every summer it gets even larger. The occasional hot spot tends to be the Burger King on Dual Highway. The cops mostly do not harass you if your parked more in the Burger King parking lot than the surrounding larger parking lot since its considered trespassing. The solution to sitting there is to either drive away when the cops pull in, go inside to Burger King to eat, or hopefully be eating something already in the Burger King Parking lot. Cops can only really kick you out legally if there has been a 9-11 call for a disturbance by a motorist or the surrounding businesses. Otherwise you are not creating any harm and they will just try to intimidate you to leave for being a nuisance to them.

Hanover Golden Mile

The other location we occasionally go to is Hanover, PA. Its about 1 hour and 20 minutes away however its definitely worth the trip. The cruising strip is about 1/4 the size of the dual highway and is more dense with cruisers. The cops up here can occasionally be strict and harassing because they have such a horrible reputation for street racing and it never seems to end. Even their judge has no pity for cruisers or street racers. If your sitting at Wal-Mart and a cop pulls in, you have about 5 seconds to hop in your car and get moving otherwise they may block you in and hand out loitering violations.
